Proper mammography positioning and compression techniques are critical to generate high-quality mammography images. The ability to consistently produce clear images is essential for diagnostic confidence and contributes to better workflow efficiencies and positive patient experiences.

Our full-day training helps prepare your facility for ACR validation, with hands-on mammography positioning education tailored to technologists. Refresh skills and master best practices for capturing precise images every time and delivering exceptional patient experiences for all types of body habitus.

The mammography positioning course starts with a 2-hour lecture and image evaluation, based on standards established by ACR mammography positioning guidelines, followed by 2 hours of guided training with a live model. Instruction covers both MLO mammography positioning and CC mammography positioning. The second half of the day is spent doing clinical exams with tips and analysis designed to sharpen positioning proficiency for all participants.
